Found this interesting startup web site. They offer to sell your photos and split the buyer fee. They offer a searchable database. You upload your photos for free, add your keywords, searchers search the database, and if they want it they buy it online.

yeah, the only thing I don't like which I spotted later, is that if you upload more than 10 photos you need to pay a fee....:dunno

Here is another site for selling photographs: www.usa-pics.com. I happen to be an agent photographer for them as well, so I am a bit biased. Feel free to ask me questions. Or email me for a discount coupon. I'm new there, and I'm only an agent, not an owner or investor. mercphoto@earthlink.net -- Bill

Speaking of selling photos, how is everyone marketing themselves? I have a pro page up here, but what are effective ways of getting the word out? Best I've done so far is an exhibition at a local retail store in June.

I'll occassionally do events, like a triathlon or a car show, and I make sure the event organizer is ready to email all the registrants about where they can find the photos.
