On my walk around town before heading to work,
I went down by the water front in hope of photographing the old build.
However I got down there and the place was surrounded by a Cyclone Fence :dunno they must have been working on the building.

Lucky I had my Canon 10-22mm lens on the camera or there is no way I would have captured this shot.

I'm not sure what these old buildings were used for,
I need to find out, many folks wouldn't even know they were there,
as they are back off the water front.

I believe these buildings are Heritatge Listed, but I could be wrong.
Look at the big old Blue Stones and Sand Stones, and the door was not made for tall people.

I'm 5ft tall and that door is about my hight.

Enjoy :D ..... Skippy

Those colors work so well together in this shot. And the surface and shape of those old stones! That deadbold on the red door looks huge. Wonderful stuff.

Thanks David, I know that building has been there since long before I was born, it's been well hidden because of it's location.

I'm glad it has been maintained and looks great from the outside.
Not sure what they are doing around the area that they have it fenced off with the Cyclone Fence ??

Thanks for looking..... Skippy :D

Thanks Rick.... I wish these places were lit up at night.
We have this grand old Catholic Church that has real bad lighting to do night shots with :dunno .

I must pluck up the courage to ask if I can shoot it from the inside.

That Lens is yet another I will not part with I love :lust it :D .

I didn't get to see what it would be like to shoot it front on because of the cyclone fence, least using the wide angle allows you to get in real close and still capture most of the building.

Thanks for looking Serrator :thumb .... Skippy

Thanks Big Al, the building is in very good condition, the lighting was pretty good down there.

Well being 5ft tall means you can fit in the kids seat in a 4X Drive :rofl
Lucky for me on the last Dgrin Shoot Out I could fit in that little seat in the back :rolleyes ..... thanks for looking Al :thumb .... Skippy
