geesh, and its Mother's Day of all things!
Im just starting to get the hang of using a new camera, elements 4 w/ an iMac and my wife tells me today is my daughters ballet recital.....
I told her Im not ready - she said if I wanna make it to father's day I better get my (you-know-what) ready in a jiffy......
anyway, i know they arent great and im still working out how best to post process these but here is a sample of Heather (8) and Lauren (12) today.....
I HOPE I MAKE IT TO FATHER"S DAY!

I like the series. They are having fun, and you captured that. I find the shot with the yellow dresses and little yellow hats adorable... Hats off for the costumes lady...
I think your ladyboss should give you at least till the day after fathersday...

Hi Troy!
First of all, how time flies! I remember seeing pictures of your lil' ones a long while ago, and my my... they really did grow quite a bit! :rofl
Okay, now I sounded like an old geezer! :rofl
Back on topic, I think you did great, I'd probably be really content with these photos if they were my daughters!
Did you have a lot of trouble with your new gear? From the photos, it doesn't seem like you had.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Take care!

I would be totally happy if my husband had taken pictures like these.
Which would be hard for him to do, because the only pictures he takes is with his cell phone.... :D So, you shouldn't have to worry about making it till fathers day!
My favorite is the hula one- the lighting is really nice and there is a lot less noise than the others. Your daughters are pretty cute!
Good job dad!

Troy,
I think you did a really great job on the skin tones. Nice focal points. You have a really great baseline to go from here.

Troy these are very good shots. Looks like you have had a seat a bit too close to the stage.
