I have been working on this shot from this morning. I liked the frost on the thistle, but I felt it all got lost in the background. I thought this might be a reason worth trying the selective color.

I wanted to know what all of you thought about it?

Brian,

Excellent use of selective color. The focal point of the pic is clear and stands out. This is one of the few times I've liked the use of selective color

The selective color works very good with this photo. The colors work very well together.

I'd say this is a perfect example of selective color done right.
