Kauai

[Focus Pocus]

After 10 years of wishful thinking, my wife and I finally were able to get away on our first trip to Hawaii. This was our first real vacation without kids; long overdue! I had never been anywhere tropical before and the North Shore of Kauai was a dream come true!

The sound of the surf and the ocean breeze blowing through our room made for some great night's sleep.

A day hike along the Napali Coast was well worth the effort!

Great pictures of Kauai. Makes me want to visit even more. I live on Oahu, and havn't had a chance to visit Kauai yet, but i guess i can't complain too much :-). If you ever are headed to Oahu drop me a line and i can give you some recomendations on places to stay and places to visit.
