Where do your clients hear about you?

I'm curiouse to see how you acquire your business. I'm sure each individual has different ways and ideas, and it would be great to hear them all.....not matter what it is you photograph. I'm a little out of the loop here in Austin, TX, and could use some ideas. Please share for all to read:ivar

For my motocross photos I hand out business cards, occassionally wear a shirt with LeiningerPhotos.com on it, pass out flyers and the track gives my website a shout out over the PA, which they broadcast over a radio frequency so the people in the pits can hear what's going on too. Word of mouth is huge too. Good shots promote good word of mouth, I'm still occassionally surprised how well that works. A myspace account, or in my case a mymotospace account. Oh I almost forgot, talk to the people at the event, be nice, it pays off. If I get an e-mail, I answer it, quickly.

The word of mouth works for senior portraits, family portraits, weddings, and even the occassional commercial job too, none of which I have put any real effort into promoting myself in, but all of which I have had jobs doing.
