This was taken on a golf course in Hawaii. I have the Cannon Rebel, again I welcome all comments. I learn so much as I review the treads, I motivates me to go out and experiment. I did purchase a photography book also. Thanks for all comments on previous posts, it really helps.

How about this version? I toned down the greenness of the trees, and lightened the boat. Then darkened the whole picture to give it a evening light....

I agree there was alot of green in the shot. I have photoshop but #1 I have not learned how to utilize it yet ( only sizing, crop, fill flash, etc) #2 your right, I'm hesitant to change a picture too much, but again I see how it can capture the tone of the scene if used appropriately. Thanks.

Hello Phyfer1 and All,
It is a nice shot with some meaning, with the boat so near the water but still on land.
Here is my 'version' in which I just tried to bring out the natural beauty of the image which you captured:

Thanks for the tips. That looks much better. The wooden boat now is the focal point since the details in the wood are a little more obvious. I really need to take a class or something on photoshop.

Hi Tina and All,
Glad you liked my version. It is not hard to do.
Try this link about levels adjustment. I keep a printout of it by my computer:
