Changing photos for a category

On my home page I have a sports category, under that category I have several folders. The first folder listed I have a feature photo set for that folder. Now on my home page when I look at Sports, it also always uses that first folders feature photo. Is it possible to have five folders under my sports category and set a feature photo in each one and have the Sports category change between the different photos, or have some random images with in those folders show up?
