I got a email from a swedish magazine stating that they used a photo of mine in a publication on our intervention into the war in Irag

Here's the photo they used.

Hmm, dont magazines usually email you before they use a photo, ask permission, and work out a payment? Or was it sold on a stock site and they were just letting you know how it went? :0)

Thats nice that they let you know then. I have over 200 downloads on istock and not one person has let me know what it was used for yet.

Or better yet a tear sheet or something like that. Dont thy usually matte/presentaiton frame a page for you if you ask for it?
