Here is a simple street portrait of a girl with multicolour hair (http://www.digital-photo.com.au/v/People/Street+Photography/Girl-with-multicolour-hair_MG_4412.jpg.html). Nice smile and pretty face was enough for this photographer to take notice. Her conservative, elegant jacket was a bit at odds with the radical hair, but together it seemed to fit well.

Don't care for the toning. Makes the hair seem not-so-radical.

There is something strange going on here. This is a lot more vivid on my PC than from the Internet. I may have to reprocess this image again.

Are you working in CMYK?

It looks like it might have been AdobeRGB and somehow lost it's profile or wasn't properly converted to sRGB before putting on the web.

OK, I found what it was - ProPhoto colour space from Lightroom instead of sRGB. Refresh the image in your browser to see the updated copy.

Big difference! I like it, Ted.

You have to make sure and clear the old image out of your browser cache. Firefox on a PC shows a big difference with the latest image, so I'm guessing that you aren't seeing the new one yet.

got it now-- yep, needed a cache flush.
