Can I add text to my new header ?

Yesterday I successfully created my header. ( Whew !)
now, I would like to add text to or inside the header. This possible ?
Tutorial available ?

What am I missing/understanding here ? What is IE7, FF, IE6 ?

I refer to it as "Header" but you both says "Banner"....(apples & oranges ??)
When I log-in, or not, I see all my galleries and the header.
Do I need I contact someone else at Smugmug ?

Those are all browsers. IE6 & IE7 are Internet Explorer release 6 or 7. And FF is FireFox.

I assumed when you said "header" that you meant a graphic that sits at the top of your page. Did you mean something else? For example, if you look at the top of my page, I have a very simple banner that says "from the eyes of Denise Goldberg", and I have a navbar below that.

Did you mean something else? I've just attached a screen shot so you can see what I see.

I see what you mean....nothing there. Drats ! Yes I mean header....the 750x150 space above "Wildwings". Im using browser: at&t yahoo.com. If I use IE, it does show my header. So...does this pinpoint my problem ?

The header, an egret in flight, is only on my Home Page. It shows regardless if Im signed in or not.

so you'll see it logged out. Clear your cache and see if you still see it logged
out.

Yikes! Cleared my cache and I no longer see the header...just blank space.
Drats....Thought this was too easy yesterday.
Al, I searched the galleries, tools, etc. for any hint of hiding or passwords...nothing there.
So, start all over ?...or will this problem repeat itself ?

I think I learned a lot from our exchanges. Started over from scratch, everything worked, so far. Im seeing the header even after emptying my cache. Here is the link again....do you see it now ??

Anyway....a ton of thanks. This was bugging me all day.
