San Diego June 12-15th Anyone up for some shooting?

No replies so i'll jump in, I don't live in San Diego and I'm not a pilot, visited it a few times first in 1960 USCG Cutter and and since then half dozen times as an airline employee. From what i understand SAN which is the busiest single runway airport in the US can be quite challenging for the tech crew. There was talk 15/20 years of relocating the runway to the Mexican side of the border once landing the a/c would taxi across the border to the terminal in the US. This would have been a world first, but i guess the idea didn't get off the ground.

July I could possible do (it's only a 2 hr drive, but there are fun places down there), but June wouldn't work...

Sorry about that. Seems my brain has gone on strike (I'm surprised I remembered how to get to work this morning).

Title fixed, it is June 12, 13, 14, and 15.
I will have most of the 12th after around 2pm free, the 13th free before 7:30AM & free after 5, 14th, free before 7:30 AM after 5, 15th free till I have to be at the airport around 10am.

I wish it was over a weekend too. Problem is it's a work trip and seeing as it's not my money, I didn't get to pick the dates. At least I won't have to pay for anything while I'm out there. :clap:clap:clap

Hey SD, sorry I didn't see your post till this morning.

I'll be free on the 12th from around 3:30PM, and should be free around 6PM the 13th and 14th, and will be free till 10AM on the 15. Pick a day and time.....

The 12th will prolly offer the most time for shooting or the 15th (early morning).

The rest of the time I have to work....... :rolleyes

Thank you for waking up at 4am and showing me around. Hopefully next time I'm out there I'll be able to shoot more, and hopefully my allergies wont be as bad so I don't feel dead and actually have energy. Was alot of fun, I hope you guys were able to pick some tips up from me, other than that you have to spend more money (on lenses and jewelry for the wives).
