GREAPER

Steve and I had a chance to go out for a few hours Sunday night and shoot.
A couple of years ago I heard of a local wooded area that was know to have large amounts of Trilliam (sp?) every spring. That was to be our destination.
We drove out to the location about 30 minutes west of Toledo.
We were very happy to find that there was a LOT of it.

Unfortunately the wind had picked up. Shooting was going to be a little rough.

We also thought that there was still more to bloom and maybe we were a tiny bit early.

As the wind picked up and the light faded, we figured we were done for the night.
We stopped at Providence Dam hoping for a nice sunset.
We watched this kid throw back a really big carp.

The sunset wasn't much, even aided with the artificial color of a cokin graduated orange filter.

I did kind of like this abstract view of the dam

And a parting shot of the sunset.

Thx for looking
