Hi All,

Here are few of children portraits that I took recently. Would like to know your opinion on these.

The first two are of my fellow photographers nephew who visited along for a model shoot. She was so upset seeing so many unknown people around with cameras and lights that she almost cried. Later when she got familiar with all, she started running/playing around the studio and won't sit still at one place. I hardly have any good shot of her when she was being naughty, because she wont stand still :)

The two below were taken on my trip to McLeod Ganj. These are the children of the guest house owner where I stayed.

Second and third are really good. I'd probably crop 3rd one closer to reduce the surface of the board above. Beautiful children and great portraits.

#1 I'd never show unless it was in a context of an article. By itself it is a bit disturbing.

3&4 look over processed.. too light, not enough tonal range.

I love the third one.

Thanks chopsky, Shane, Arnica, David. Even I like the third photograph personally.

Thanks Ted for the cropping advice. Appreciate that. About the picture no. 1. That's one reason why I gave a description on top for picture 1.

Thanks Owen. In fact 3rd and 4th are the only two shots which are not touched at all, they are straight from RAW to jpeg. The first and second have under gone some post processing.
