Little madam

I'm not big on people photography, as a matter of fact, i'm not good at it.
I was just playing around shooting my niece. Please let me know if it looks anything decent and what can be improved. Please feel free to edit them in anyway. I can never achieve anything remotely as good as i see some of the portraits here, is it my editing? Is it my lens? LOL

Shot with Nikon D80 18-200mm lens.

First 2 are in the house using flash.
The last one is outside no flash.
