i chose a match, isolated the heck out of it... but then what? how 'bout some double exposure, in photoshop:

even tried a triple exposure, very faintly:

personally, I think the triple is too much. (actually, it's a quadruple and the first one is a triple - the unlit match is there too, under 2 and 3 burning matches respectively). whaddya think?

I think it's beautiful. I love the simplicity of it. I do like the first one better, the second one seems to be over doing it. I think there is a lot of extra space on the bottom though, but I am no professional. This is definately the best one I've seen so far.:clap

This is definately the best one I've seen so far.:clapthanks! i'm glad you like the first one better. as for the bottom, i struggled with the crop as well, and settled with a tight top. then, i felt the clip held it together at the bottom. I'll experiment some more with the image.

I like the top one. But please, crop out whatever is holding the match. I keep looking at the picture and wondering if that is a paper clip!

mitch:D it's actually a little alligator clip from one of those springy little post-it note or photo holders. You don't think the photo will be too dark with no defining point at the bottom? I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Eric.. I really like the first one, I too think it's beautiful and I too agree with crop out the thingy at the bottom.. very simple very true.. nice:clap
