I think it's beautiful. Love the control of light and the composition.

I have one piece of feedback. The shaft of light strikes the flower that's out of focus. The flower that's in focus is not lit. So the eye isn't sure which flower to look at: the one that's in focus, or the one that's highlighted.

Maybe that's by design, but I thought I'd bring it up.

After looking at some of your work, I really appreciate your comments. The "shaft of light" (really the curb across the street) actually looked like "light" in my DOF Preview, so I moved slightly to put it on the brighter flower, originally it just streaked across the top of the frame. Without it there is no composition, and I did't like it on the lower flower. I've been wrong before

It would be helpful (for us anyway) if you could post a larger shot. I agree with Sid on the light leading to the OOF flower. Also, much of the frame is taken up by the light beam and not enough flower. The flowers IMHO should take up more of the frame to where the in focus one is the attraction. As it stands now, it looks like the in focus flower just happens to be in the way of the OOF flower and the light beam.
