I have to say I am the other way around, I like to keep everything at least as a backup on a CD. Because once you go to town on that delete button it will not come back. So unless it is utter garbage I at least burn it to CD. Just my opinion.:D

I have to agree with handlebar here. As soon as I throw something out is when I wish I had it. No. 1 is a pretty picture, but lacks that certain something. Maybe it could get that special sparkle with some levels or curves. Or maybe it could serve as a background for something else. I could loan you my dog. :rofl

No, seriously, you could use it. You might have a picture of a deer, bear, boat etc. for the forground. I'd save it on a CD.

No. 2 is not that great. Too many shadows on the faces, no white water or giant splashes. But, is one of these your kid? I can never throw away a picture of one of my kids. Your call here.

I just dumped a bunch of pics myself. Funny how you can look back and see your own growth and improvement. As we get more discerning, our treasures become trash. :D

Thanks for your thoughts Snappable and Handlebar. The lake photo has had all the curves it can bear and the rafters are just a candid shot of no one I know. I will cull these .
I will let this tread die then I will cull my Smugmug too. Its become quite a bloato of bad photo:rofl
