Oh my, those are spectacular. Must have been challenging to get all of that detail.
I like the effect the lights have - adds a twinkling feeling.
I wonder if our ice sculptures are still on display - the festival happened the week it was -30C!

Man, I hate the cold weather, but this stuff is really beautiful. You did a great job capturing them. I like this one the best:

These are wonderful. I have seen these done on tv. It is really cool to watch them being carved.

Thanks folks.
I wasn't there when they were carving. The bad news is, 36 degrees today,
40 tomorrow. It's a shame all that hard work for only a couple day showing.

It is absolutely amazing how people can carve such detail in the ice. Oh yeah great composure on the pics. they are really neat.

One or two inches here and you will see people freeking out:rofl
Also you must realize that I work for a airport and when it snows I am at work till everything is up and running again.
Sometimes I don't go home for a week or more.
But I know it does sond funny coming from a Kentuckian:D

but the last one, that was ISO 800.
