I like the fact that the POV treelines pulls you into the photo. But the lack of sky and overall lighting make this rather bland. Morning or evening light, even if it is overcast, would help, and perhaps give better (some) reflections in the water. You might also try a higher POV and more to the right to show where the water meanders. That may also help pull the viewer into the scene. Also, trees are a bit dark, lost detail; again, lighting.

You seem to have good color in the trees.

Needs some zing for sure. If you do re-shoot at sunset you might play with the composition more. Possibly some reeds in foreground? Also feels like you might want to place the emphasis on the water or the sky more.

The horizon (waterline) is centered almost vertically. Personally I prefer when the horizon is either 1/3 from the top or 1/3 from the bottom - which will emphasize either the water or the sky. Agree with earlier comments about the color of the sky as well.

Looks cool, but needs to be straight. Its too sideways for my tastes :P.
