5, 6, and 7... awesome job man... just amazing =).
Quick question: did you use focus lock or the limiter switch at all? And what were your settings in camera? (If you dont mind me asking :P)

Absolutely outstanding sequence! Excellent photography.
"Busted" is more like it. I didn't see a ball in the baseman's glove, so I'm assuming he was safe, right? He's lucky he didn't get a cleat in his back.

I have the AF limit switch 'on' altho the 70-200 may be fast enough w/ it off
I shoot in A and vary aperture from 2.8 to 4 but in this game was playing w/ all the way to 6.3.
I stop down when I expect a nasty background.
I always leave ISO at 200 for good light games
so my ss-s were usually very high.
