I can't figure out how to show a picture commenting on at a smaller size.
I would like to only to show a small sample of the original for reference.
How is this done? I've seen it done here.
Anyone?

if folks have linked a pic from smugmug, you'll see a -M or -L at the end of the link... just change that to -S (for small) and voila! if it's an attached file, or linked from another website, you cannot change the size.

If the image is hosted on smugmug....
You have several sizes to choose from.

When you reply to the post you will see the link to the picture. Just change the letter just before the .jpg to the size you want it to be and it will change the size in the reply.

Well, if it's a smugmug post, then the size is at the end of the image URL, and you'll see that URL in the reply edit.
The sizes are S, M, L and O, for small, medium, large, and original. Just change that letter to S, and you'll get the small size.
EDIT: Wow, bing-bang-boom. In the time it took me to write the response, two others beat me to it!

I have never tried it. Ice cream makes me... Uh, lets just say it doesn't stay with me long.
