Our Bridge

Well one of them anyway.
This is the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge it links Covington Kentucky to Cincinnati Ohio built in 1866.
Andy will recognize this bridge he has the big brother to this one.(Brooklyn Bridge)

You can just make out the murals on the flood wall in Covington.
The murals are hand panted and are also very cool.

I like how you framed the P&G towers in the back ground.

We need to have a local boys shoot out sometime as soon as it warms.

The riverfront is a great place to shoot

The Roebling Bridge. Great shot. I prefer the first, but the lights are nicely captured in the second. The murals you mentioned seem to be found in many towns along the Ohio River. I found these in Maysville Kentucky along their flood wall, shot with a CoolPix 995 and perspective corrected in PS

But they are nice to look at...I will have to see if I can capture those in Covington.
I think the rivers back down now it was up above flood stage.

Were you in a boat or did your feet get wet for this shot?? Maybe you were on a pier?

Great shot - The best of the three if you can clone out some of the electrical wires. :D

I shot a picture of the Court House in Maysville which is a very old building and must have spent two hours cloning out the wires that have been strung up outside it. What a shame.

Yes I need to get rid of the wires but ....
I'm lazy I like shooting more then post processing.

The Mike Fink sign is right on a wall that goes straight down to the river,when it's not flooding.
I was in the street Greenup St. it just looks worse then it is.

It's a great spot to shoot I am going down there tomorrow I hope.
