A while back I came across a page entitled Catalog 2 which lists all the items for sale; picture sizes and photo gifts, without the prices. I would like to convert that page into a JPG file to use in my galleries to help customers visually understand what is available for purchase. My questions are:
1. Is that page available in a format that could be converted to JPG?
2. Is that page still on Smugmug? I cannot locate it.
Thank you.

Do you mean something like this page?

I borrowed this idea/layout from Andy. I think that the products portion was copied/pasted code into the description box.
Check out the customizing forum for more help.

Ann,
Thank you. Here is the page which I just located:
http://www.smugmug.com/prints/catalog2.mg
You are using the gift portion of the page on your customized site, but being that I don't have the time now to customize (wish I did), I figured if I could somehow convert that page to JPG I could use it in my galleries, hopefully to enhance the selling of photo gifts.

Is it ok to use this as shown or put the orginal image in one of my galleries? Save the image and upload to one of your galleries so you can link to to.
The ole bunny biter Andy:D gave some get directions above and I also followed
them and came up with link removed this.
Holler back if you any trouble.

Andy was kind enough to send me the image as well as instructions on linking to it. I would like to use the image in a gallery as a stand alone photo, but it is too small to read. For some reason unknown to me, enlarging the image does not make readable. When I utilize Andy's linking method it shows fine.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Put this in the gallery description.
The red photo number is Andy's, you'll need to download and save it,
then upload to your gallery. It will then have a different number that
you'll use in place of the red.

Hi All,
Is there an updated Catalog page and associated code that includes information about both 4x8 and 5x7 cards?
Thanks

Hoping there's more than deaf ears out there:
The solution of copying the Smug files, or creating our own pages to mimic the smug pages has the problem being stated here - how do we keep up with product changes - which usually occur without forewarning - new products, or products no longer available. We need to update our pages.
The need for updates could be eliminated....I've made this suggestion before, but haven't gotten anywhere with it:
The product page has smugmug headers, product info (having no references to Smugmug), then smugmug footers.
If Smug would structure their product page like this:
HTML Code for Smug branded header
.include HTML for product info from a file
HTML Code for Smug Branded footer
and make the product HTML code available to us, we could structure our product pages as:
HTML for MY header - branded with MY stuff
.include HTML (same file as Smug uses)
HTML for MY Footer
Then whenever Smug changes their product set, our pages would change automatically...it would be little extra work for Smug (they have to create the HTML for the product page anyway), they just need to structure the info in separate files.
I keep hoping..maybe...someday... :)
- Gary.

Catalog is changing again, very very soon, very dramatically :D But all the HTML will be there for you if you wish! We'll see if one day we can do what you suggest, Gary.
Thanks.
