Lucky for you, you posted a pretty good shot!

Nice lighting. I'd open up the DOF a bit to get the entire subject in focus.

OMG, what a cute baby!! I love the shot!!
I would suggest a little more sharpening of the eyes and lips! It looks like that she was giving you a pouty expression and that her little lips were wet, so if they were just a little bit more "wet" looking, I think it would add to the expression.

Just my 2 cents.....but I really just think she is beautiful and it is a great capture!!!

first of all I'd like to say that the shot is *good*! not much to be whipped, but when I see a good shot it makes me more picky :wink

Something to consider:
A little more sharpening on the face might make the picture slightly more easy on the eyes. A tad of contrast might make the picture pop a little more. As a last tweak I would add some saturation to the eyes, maybe even a slight bit brightening on em.

If you could have backed off a little and recrop so you have a little more space to the front of the baby, that would be nice. As above I would like to see a little more DOF,contrast and sharpness.

If you can't reshoot it go ahead and sharpen it add contrast and give just tad of saturation. A 5x7 print in a larger matted frame would be a nice gift.

If this was my kid this photo would be in a frame on display. :thumb
