Hey this castle is on the last level of a videogame called "Tenchu"!
Here's my .02
Expose the shot to a darker area like the bottom of the bridge to help the sky pop, and bring out structural detail. Recommend slowing down the shutter speed to glass up the water a bit too.
Composing this shot in portrait would get rid of the buildings to the right. I see the whole old/new thing, the buildings just don't look "modern" enough for juxtaposition. I wonder what the perspective was from about a mile to the right?Hope you get to go back to reshoot this!:D

I think it is a beautiful shot. The only distraction for me are the branches in the upper left corner. It would have been nice if they were more prominent to frame the photo but as they are I think they should be cloned out.

Nothing about this shot really grabs me. It's basically a snapshot. However, there's definitely a subject there. I don't know if a reshoot is possible, but even if not, thinking about how you would reshoot it if you could might be instructive. If this were my shot, here's what I'd think about it: there's two good things here: the castle itself, and that brilliant red bridge. That's what made me feel like taking a picture. That's what I want to get a picture of. If I could have a do-over, I'd reframe this shot to get more of the bridge in the foreground and play up the contrast between the brilliant red bridge and the grey & white of the castle, remove the modern buildings on the right, get it early or late in the day when the light is more dramatic, and if possible, get big clouds in the sky.
