You did a nice job of eliminating the bright spots in the second image. I have spent much time in such canyons attempting to match the camera position with the composition with the light, never an easy task especially with sand falling from above. However, it looks like you were also standing on ice:huh
I think I like the last one best as the centered composition works well:thumb

Arrgh... Makes me want to drop everything and go back there again.
Nice shooting!
Which slot canyons did you visit on your trip, and which one is this? :scratch

Thank you Marc
Lighting was very tricky in these canyons, this was Willis Creek South of Canonville. I hope to spend more time searching these out.
The ice was a little scary and slick. My little boy ended up falling a few times as we were walking through the different canyons.
Thanks again on some of your suggestions on locations in Southern Utah.

Thanks Nikolai.
These were in Grand Staircase Escalante South of Cannonville Utah. Little creek called Willis Creek. It was hard to find the entrance at first because the trailhead is not marked very well but was worth the trouble.
There are multiple slots as you walk down the creek from just over a few feet above your head to hundreds of feet.
I can't wait to shoot more of these!

Marc had suggested some on the other side of Grand Staircase but luckily for me the place I was staying at in Tropic told me about this one. They do horseback rides through it and it was a much shorter hike to get in them- which my son greatly appreciated.
Only problem is not marked very well. We walked a mile down a wrong creek before we found out we were in the wrong place. Once we were in the right place we only saw one other person the two hours we were there.
