White background not

I'm trying to have a simple white background for my pages, so I included

body {
background:#FFFFFF;
color:#EDEBE9;
}

in the CSS section. But the pages still show a gray gradiant. What else do I need to change?

Ah! I was playing with the Web Developer Toolbar and realized I have a Light Grey theme attached. How do I detach the theme?

Be sure you have no theme selected, revert to the "default" theme in the galleries.

Figured it out. Now I just need to experiment with the site when users aren't accessing it much to up the look and feel.
