Hey Smugmugers,

I'm entering a few prints in a photo contest at my office... they've asked for prints... Specifically "Fine prints/ exhibition quality preferred."

They've suggested the following 2 labs in NY:
Lexington B+W
Website: http://www.lexingtonlabs.com/index.html
Address: 38 w.21st street 9th floor NYC
Phone: 212.633.9222

DUGGAL
Website: http://www.duggal.com/01photo.htm#prints (http://www.duggal.com/01photo.htm%23prints)
Address: 29 West 23th Street
Phone: 212 924 8100

I'd rather just get them printed from Smugmug... What do you recommend here? Is there something different that these labs would do, or can I just order them from smugmug?

Also, for entering in a contest, which finish would you recommend? The winning photos will be framed and hung around the office...

Thanks!

Hi Galla,

Link me directly to the photos you wish to print, so I can best advise, you, ok?

Saw the prints. The Sepias need more punch! See the Tutorials link in the navbar up there, on Dgrin's page :)

Print them on Lustre finish, True Color, via SmugMug.

When you are ready for print, show me again, by emailing ATTN: Andy at our help desk and I'll advise

thanks!

Thanks Andy... I'll look into it. I think I just the Acdsee "sepia" filter to do those...

Duggal? Wow... how big are these photo contest prints? :D

I ask because the founder of Duggal has a column in Digital Photo Pro and he always seems to be writing about using photos as building wraps (ie covering the entire side of a building!).

They want "standard" sizes... 8x10 11x14, etc...
