I noticed several people here ride bikes, so here is a photo of mine. It is a 1995 Heritage with 96K miles.

that's a pretty personal statement, waxy. after all, we just met sam.
cool ride, sam...welcome to the...uh...what do we call this place again? Da Grin?

With all those miles under his butt, should we send him down the hall to look around? :wink
Your butt must be sore.
No sore butt. The bike has a solid mounted motor, hence a built in vibrator. Keeps the blood flowing, and you don't have to feed it quarters like those old motel beds. :D

Sam,
Welcome to the mini asylum! You have to be in the top 1% of Harley riders for miles.
Since you showed yours, I'll show mine.

Maybe we'll start a trend.

Do I really have to explain? Geez... I built an adult website for this guy, who, interestingly enough, couldn't pay me to maintain it so he got me a digital camera as payment, which is how I ended up here. Ironic, ain't it? Anyway, since I have access to the server that's where I upload pictures I want to put up on sites like this, that is, until I figured out how to upload them directly to the server here. Sorry ya asked?

You'd be surprized at how many miles some HD riders put on. One guy I know has a 1993 Heritage with over 300K.
As for your bike pic: I keep mine on the paved stuff. :D

I put 20K on the last Harley I owned in about 18 months. Ya some Harley riders do put some miles on them, but not a lot. I like to see miled up Harleys. I guess I like to see miled up anything!

I've got over 40,000 on my bike in about 2+ years. I agree, Harley's need miles. You go into a Harley showroom and you'll see 3 year old bikes with 2,000 miles on them. Friggin' yuppies!

Lots of folks here are refugees from www.advrider.com... where the primary bike of choice is the BMW GS. The same guy runs both sites, he's really nice, so we came here to politely stir-up trouble.

And yes, it's a BMW, although not the ever popular gnarly GS. It's a K1200RS, inline 4, 130 ponies and smooth as a babies behind. Some say it has no character compared to the boxer, but I like it just fine!

Surely you mean Chretien?
Surely you mean Chretien?
I ment "cretin". ( I can't spell or type) The name given in the Valais and other Alpine valleys to the one suffering from a particular kind of idiocy prevalant there. (Universal Dictionary of the English Language, Copyrite 1896, volume 2)
Chretien is a variety of pear. The bon chretien. (Universal Dictionary of the English Language, Copyrite 1896, volume 2) or Chretien de Troyes, poet. (Newworld Dictionary copyrite 1970, my new dictionary. :D
