Collared Dove chicks

These chicks were recently fledged on top of my security light right outside my back door. The parents have retuned to the same site every year for the last 3 years, but this is the first time they have actually raised any young to completion. First year, something took the eggs, second year a cat took out the chicks, but this year *I* stood guard over the nest!

Finally, they were just about ready to fly... And they did!

But the parents have returned to the nest, and I believe are sitting on a second clutch of eggs, so watch this space!

I was trying to find a way to add more than one shot to the first post, but it didn't seem possible to attach more than one image at a time. Is there a way of doing it?

You can only do one attachment to a post. The easiest way to do multiple images with attachments is to post the first pic and then reply to your own thread with the second image and then again with the next and so on.
