I'm looking to buy a flash bracket. Canon 20D with BG-E2 grip. What I'd like to do is to be able to use the camera landscape or portrait, and keep the flash above the camera. Further, in portrait mode I want the flash above the right side of the camera, not the left side. This is because I have a grip with extra buttons and I want to use them.

My GF has a flash bracket that puts the flash above the left side. So when I flip to potraite mode, my grip buttons are on the bottom of the camera. Grrr...

I'm looking at the Stroboframe Pro-T or Press-T. Will either do the job I want? Anything else to consider? My local dealer does not carry either of these models, otherwise I could answer the question myself. :)

I was going to recommend the two you listed. I think I have the Pro-T, which is taller. It works well and you can still access the controls well when it is vertical. I still hold the regular grip, not the vertical grip with the bracket since the bottom of the camera is thicker with it attached. I use the Stroboframe Quick Release plates also. Let me know if you have any specific questions I can answer.
