how do i hide a gallery without it affecting my nav bar pls?

Hi

Please can someone advise me, ive pasted in some html code into a new gallery which i called Contact Us working on the basis of a html page only.

I then linked it in with my nav bar and that works great. However, when i click on my nav bar it directs you straight to the email form, so i know that part is working fine. The problem that I have is that when i then click on my nav bar to Galleries at the bottom right hand of the page you can see a gallery called Contact Us which i really dont want there.

I did hide the galleries which did rectify this, however then i have no galleries featuring at all which is what i dont want. I just wish to know if i can get rid of the contact us gallery that is displaying in the galleries section as its only purpose was for a html page so that i can add it to the nav bar.

Is there anyway possible I can remove the contact us gallery from the gallery pages without it affecting the location of it in the nav bar.

if i hide the gallery then all the galleries disappear and i want the others to still show please. I dont know how to just hide that particular gallery

therefor i need to know how to just hide that particular gallery .... or do i need to hide them all and then feature the rest, however i was under the impression that you can only feature 4 galleries which wouldnt be enough, plus i dont want them featuring on my front page.

any ideas please.

Have you tried setting that gallery to private? That should keep it off of the page with your galleries, but will show it when you explicitly reference it.

Go to the specific gallery (http://acsphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/2595242), make sure you're logged in, find the 'Customize gallery' in the Tools menu, and then set the 'Public' option to 'No'.

That should fix it.

hi and thanks to all for replying, unfortunately that gallery does not have a private facility on it, is that because there is no photo uploaded in that file and if i need to do that in order to make it private please can you tell me how to put one in there as i am unable to get the custom tools up in there.

Also i tried the other suggestion of setting the option to public as 'No' howvever it wont let me save on the bottom right hand side save button, it only allows me to save at the top and the saves do not take any affect. please can you help further.

ok all please hold fire for now, ive deleted the whole thing out as i lost my temper with it and it all started going wrong so ive gotta start again lol ... will post back when i get it back again with no doubt the same probs.
