Little Girl at roadside stand in far northern Laos, near Muang Sing, 13 km from China.

My guess is that we were the first westerners at this roadside stand and this little girl was shy and interested at the same time.

I'm glad I checked out the whole gallery! Many real gems in there!

The girl at the roadside stand tells a nice story, but I didn't find it as engaging as many of the portraits in the gallery.

Probably because of the disconnect with the camera. She's looking past you, and that's a bit distracting. Yanno?

Some really nice images in your gallery, though... looks like a great trip!
