hmmm, wonder how many he's submitted? What's the submission to win rate? inquiring minds want to know....

Is the thrill gone, or is it still a thrill to see you photo in Times Square?

the thrill is *definitely* not gone. i get a smile from ear to ear when i find out, it's really very exciting! and yes, it's way cool to see the photos up on the jumbotron on times square :nod y'know, kodak gets about 30,000 submissions a year for this, so i'm really excited anytime a photo of mine gets chosen.

how many have i submitted? how many wins? since january 2004, i submitted 11 or 12 photographs, and i've been so very fortunate to have had nine chosen. there's this one coming up on feb 11 and then there's another that they notified me on back in october, but it won't run until the springtime :deal

this is only the second infrared shot that i've seen, the first was cheryl m from the sony forum on dpreview, from back in 2003...
