List Galleries in a differant way

I have placed my Galleries in a specific order but the order reads left > right and top > bottom.

I prefer it to read top > bottom (left column) then top > bottom (right column) More like a newspaper.

Is this possible?

When you go to the "your photos" page after logging in, there should be a link to "sort galleries by" and then you can choose the option "position (arrange)." Then you can sort your galleries so they appear as you describe. See if that works for you. If not, let us know. And Welcome!

Yes, that will work, I was just hoping that there was a way to get the suystem to do that form me as some kind of order hack. Guess not.

WHile I am at it, if I wanted to replace the Gallery thumbnails with more of a symbol rather than a thumbanil taken from a gallery, How would I go about that?

Perhaps someone who knows better may be able to chime in.

Upload the image to the gallery you want to use. Feature it (http://www.smugmug.com/help/photo-website), then move it to the private gallery you use for your site images. If at a later date you don't want the image featured, move it back to the original gallery and remove feature.
