I just pulled the trigger on a Canon EF-S 10-22mm. I can not wait to see what I can do with this new lens! any advice? this is my firstsuper wide lens.

Have fun and take lots of "purty pitchers". (Yeah, great advice.)
OK, now the serious stuff. Learn how to see scenes with your eyes and know which lens choice makes your vision into an image in the camera that matches. Super-wide angle lenses have a fair amount of distortion that you will need to learn how to use to your advantage.
Explore and review. Learn and apply the knowledge. Proper use will come with experience.

I'm just a rank amateur - but I picked this lens up in the spring and love it. :D
It took me awhile to appreciate just how close you can get to things. It works well for perspective shots from low to the ground or close to something on the side perimeter of the shot. Showcasing/exaggerating depth and distance in your shots.

well that all sounds like good avice. I ran into a snag with my order so it wont be here until next week :( anyway thanks again. will post a few when I get the new goods
