Ladies and Gentelmen, Lava Rock. I also took a couple other shots I really liked, mostly because the of color. :ivar

3rd to last is a neat shot of cracked concrete. I thought it would be a good shot. I'm LOVING the color in the 2nd to last one!

Yeah, birdbrains have an aversion to 'macro' :rolleyes :lol3

Z, I moved you to other cool shots. No biggie.

Lava rock is cool. Whats the heavy equipment, though? Looks like a pretty serious pressure vessel judging by the lines and fittings. :scratch

EDIT: ^It's a BIG rocket engine at the NASA space museum here in town. ... I was really diggin the color. The sun was on the opposite side too. I was in the shade.

yeah.. Not really sure if it IS the correct forum, come to think of it.

Sorry y'all. If a MOD want to move it to "Other Shots" or something. Feel free.

Hi there, these look pretty interesting.
I used to collect rocks many years ago, I still have a very small collection.
My prized rock actually come from Montana in USA ( a gizzard rock ) :D

Everything looks so different in Macro, you seen things you never knew existed.... its great to find cystals inside rocks.

I love that Macro of the platted cable too :D
What is that last shot a picture of ??? I can't figure it out :scratch

Thanks for sharing your images ....... Skippy
