I've been to travel town before and wanted to shoot something different than "just trains" (although trains are always cool.) So I went for color ... then I spotted the layers of paint on partially sanded cars.
Similar to clouds or a Rorschach ink blot test, one can see a variety of shapes in the images.
Photo Shopping was confined to contrast and lighten/darken to bring out the colors. No color manipulation or saturation was applied.

Those are great!! I love all the different patterns and colors. It's amazing how you can take a part of something and make it into a whole new something.

I'm normally not interested in abstracts, but some of those images deserve to be printed large and framed -well done! :thumb

Thanks, it's fun to see images where most just walk on by.
