Hi all,

Sorry to be a pain, but I've spent an hour trolling the forum and searching and I can't find an answer to my question...

I'm trying to have my main page display my sub-categories instead of my category.

abphotos.smugmug.com

For example I have :
Sports
-Rugby League
-Surf Life Saving
-Soccer

So instead of them just seeing the "sports" link I'd like the sub categories to come straight up, just one less click for the customer I guess.

You could change your homepage from displaying categories to galleries.
In the upper right corner of your gallery categories box you should see this when logged in:
"display: categories · galleries" select galleries to view all your galleries.
Or just make new categories: "soccer, surf, rugby" then place your galleries in the new categories. http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-photo

CarolineCheck out this post (http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=300387&postcount=8) to get your galleries to show up four across. Also, I noticed that when I click the link in your signature, it takes me to the main SmugMug site, not your personal site. Just an FYI.

Re my signature, thanks for pointing this out -what have I done now I wonder, I think I just typed in www.etc so why does it go back to smugmug??
perhaps someone can put me right with this please.

I just did a view source on this page in dgrin so I could see your signature, and here's what popped up (other than the fact that I changed the opening and ending carets to {} ):
{a href="http://photographyuk.smugmug.com/" target="_blank">www.carolineshipsey.co.uk</a}

And for some reason the photographyuk.smugmug.com address goes to the main smugmug site. That's what needs to be changed... If you change that to your carolineshipsey address that should fix the problem.
