Wow. I like the look of this picture. Which park is this?

I'd like to see more emphasis on the tree. Right now, it disappears into the
background. Maybe shoot from a lower perspective and favoring the right
a bit more?

Cool Lynn when I went to AZ I only had my film rebel and I was to busy to take alot of pics glad you took some keepers for me:D .

I think this is a very nice scenic view. I like the light and the tonality.

But I agree that the tree is lost in the background of the mountains and that is unfortunate because it is a worthwhile forground element. The lens choice is good, but if you were to walk forward a lot closer to the tree, the lens would emphasize it quite a bit more. Wide angles are excellent to emphasize forground elements while keeping the background in focus. But to emphasize foreground elements, you must get very close to them. Otherwise wide angles just make things look small.

Nice colors. Ever notice, God's colors never clash? This is beautiful. I not sure if i could tell you anything re: the lens. I can't even change my lens :cry I have the fuji s5000... It works well.

Your title says wildlife refuge. All I see is some wierd guy with a dufus hat standing on one leg and waving. Where are the critters? :D

They were all there... dozens of em... they all ran away and flew off when I set up my tripod...:rofl thanks for the comments they are all very valid.. except fishes...:D
