This time it's not about painting numbers in B&W or color (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=55760), but about wood work.

Whats he making Antonio? ..... Skippy :D
.
I don't know the English for that but he is making the parts of a door which are fixed to the walls and where the door hangs.
Not very clear ... :scratch
We can say he is doing the frames !
It's an old way no more in use... :D
Thank you Skippy :D

Hi Antonio, you do a good job of capturing disappearing skills, with this and your other series.
I particularly like the movement of the hammer and the look of concentration in the first image.

Thank you for the comment Matthew.
These old skills are not that old in Portugal.
The European Community has the tendency to normalize, ending certain artifact factories, popular food not being good enough to sell to the people directly, etc. I suppose you know what I mean ... :D
I am going to try to shoot a whole lot of pictures with different kind of works.
The movement of the hammer was captured thanks to slow sync speed on the flash.
The man was making his jog without attention to my presence.

I have to try again tomorrow with the same guy and similar work...
Have a good evenning ! :thumb

Then you - in the USA - call it a door jam. :D
