OK, this is not the worlds best pic... I know. However, it was the only interesting thing on my 2 hour hike yesterday. Just an old tree fallen.

What are you talking about? The tree's texture is beautiful, the colours are rich, and the perspective is cool. I like it...

I also love the texture to this shot. I do wonder if you could make the deep rich color stand out more by adding a simple white border to the image - I often do so, and find it quite useful.

Thanks everyone. I will try the boarder and color depth. I know there is a lot to shoot in gray overcast, foggy settings. I am trying to adjust my perspective and notice beauty in everything.

ok, i tried working with the color a bit... that always scares me... i don't know why. with so many different monitors how do i know the color will be the same on yours as it is on mine. :scratch i also added a boarder.
