Today was a great day on the coast. While we were socked-in at home,
it was a warm and sunny day at the beach.

I started in Pacifica but, nothing happening there. Went to Montara. Nope.
Nothing there either.

Stopped at the lighthouse...something. Then Steamers Lane. As is my
practice of late, I turn the camera on my fellow shooters. Usually, my
subjects are way more than 20' from me...but I wanted to post this one
for my new friend Steve Cavigliano whom I recognized based on his profile
shot :D

I'll work on some of my other stuff from today. But here's to portraits at
20' with a 500mm lens. Oh, and it's not Steve--he and I were chatting when
I took this.

And Steve. Next time you and Andy head down the coast, you need to stop
at Whale City for coffee and a scone. Trust me on this.

Where is Whale City????

No big waves, no billowy clouds, a little on the chilly side. I shot a couple of California poppies, and a couple of rocks and setting sun shots, and that was it... maybe tomorrow.

It's in Davenport. On a nice day, you can while away the afternoon on the
patio with a view of the ocean :thumb
