So according to Adobe's website, PS CS doesn't list the 20D as a supported camera raw type... BUT, when I loaded up some of Winger's raw files from last night, they opened right up in my version of PS - newest raw plug-in installed.

What gives? I assume the raw format must be the same as som eof the other canon's, so why isn't it listed by Adobe? Are there some things missing to fully process/understand the CR2's?

I did notice one thing, there is a HUGE difference between the raw's and jpg's (she was shooting raw+jpg, right out of the camera). It's truly amazing to see how much processing the camera does. I must further admit however, that I'm having a hard time processing the raw's on my own to look as good as the jpg's of the same photo. Mine look way too flat and the colors are off - or at least not as nice as the 20d processed jpg.

I don't want to go posting Winger's shots, but I'll try to get her straightened out soon so she can post. Poor girl has more L glass than you can shake a stick at, but doesn't even know how to upload the latest plug-in for PS or even how to install firmware to make her battery grip work properly! :rofl . but that's where I come in, as her nerd friend. :D
