Why wait? Don't need no stinkin' sun with that lens :wink

There is one bad thing with this lens though, you'll never want to use anything slower than 2.8 ever again. Enjoy! :thumb

Yikes, that's some serious glass. One of their finest, isn't it?

No pressure. None whatsoever. :evil

That's the Christmas present I bought myself. I LOVE IT! It's on my camera about 95% of the time. :) Have fun with it!!

Harvey, You will love this lens. It and my 28-70 stay on my camera 99% of the time. I also have a 300 2.8. You will love the 2.8s. And why are you waiting for sunrise. Get your butt out there with this fast lens. We will be waiting for the results.

Beat me to it! Yeah, 70-200/2.8 lenses don't need sun!

I don't think I've ever been so self-conscious about my photos--no equipment excuses now! The adventure begins . . .

From yesterday:

I also bought Capture NX so I'll be diving into the world of RAW processing for the first time (though the above pic was captured in jpeg).
