Hi there, I'm new to the forum. I have a Pro account and have spent hours trying to set up a slideshow. I love the look of Moon River Photography. Well I got fairly far along, I have the navbars and most (but not all) of them work. I need help with a few problems though. First of all my slideshow does not work at all but shows as a big box. Secondly the navbars for Home, About Me, and Information do not work. (But I don;t have anything for info yet so it doesn't matter). I did the tutorials and thought I followed all the steps but I obviously made some mistakes. Can you help me or should I start all over again. Thanks Chris:clap

:clap Chris Need to clean up your footer code.
Remove the red.
Add the green > at the end.
Put your source gallery number in here XXXXXXX
Don't add the *'s, they are there so it shows in this window.
<*script*>
if (hasPath("galleries"))
YD.addClass(document.body, "galleries");
<*/script*>
<*script type="text/javascript"*>
/* required slideshow variables */
slideshowContainerId = "divId";
slideshowUrl = "http://nickname.smugmug.com/gallery/XXXXXX";
/* optional slideshow variables */
/* see properties section */
loadSlideshow();

Yeah!! I have a slideshow. Thanks for all you help. I love it. I've been busy at my day job (substitute teaching) so I haven't been able to do a lot in the last couple days. So now I'm kind of worried that I'll screw the whole thing up if I do stuff. What I would like to know is how I can get my bio to come up for About Me. It briefly flickers when I use the navbar. I know the bio box is blocked because of the slideshow but is it somewhere so I use it or should I make up a new one and upload it? If I make up a new gallery for it where do I put it? Also the info navbar, if I write info in Word I can't put it into PhotoShop. Do I need to put all the info in PhotoShop and do the typing there? (which is more difficult to do any writing in) My last question (for now) is how to improve my slideshow with a frame and center the pictures. If I upload just square ones it fits but I want some horizontal ones as well (just to make things more difficult) and if the horizontal ones were centered I think they would look alright. I found where to change the size of the slideshow but not where to center stuff.
Anyways, I won't be back till later cuz I have to go earn some money for my photography. So later!

You have one minor error which is messing with your page.
Remove the extra } in you CSS.
#bioBox {
height: 600px;
text-align: center;
background: none;
}
}
.homepage #galleriesBox,
.homepage #categoriesBox,
.homepage #featuredBox {
display: none;
}

Okay I took out that red bracket. Nothing changed. What I need now is for my bio box to work or to do a new one and if I make a new one how do I get the typing into it? :clap Chris

You need to create an html only gallery for your "about me" and put your bio
stuff in the gallery description. See the help stickies at the top.
