When logged in and viewing a photo there is a drop-down menu photo-tools. Choose "zoom thumbnail" which allows you to adjust the aspect ratioe.g., 1x1, 3x5, etc. This has to be done for each image.

There is also the bulk zoom hack (http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=238359&postcount=1) allows you to specify and adjust the aspect ratio for all images in a gallery; e.g., 1x1, 3x5, etc. You will need to add the CSS code, header code, and java code in your customization.

It's pretty sweet, though I think some refinements are in the works.
