why are all the players standing around? was it a penalty kick?

but looking at these (and your last set) makes me glad my boys are playing in California! It looks cold out there. Where my niece/nephew play (Maryland), they know it's winter and play indoor soccer in Feb; but in Carolina, it's not supposed to get that cold, so they try to play out side anyway... we do the same thing, but us wimps in the south west think its cold if the kids are playing when it's 55 F out (we'll we're cold b/c we're not moving - but when the player are as bundled up as they are for your last two sets, that looks cold!).

it was chilly...worse on Saturday
that wasn't a goal kick..these were somewhat lazy teams, not high quality soccer IMO....
i'll shoot at 40F and above as long as I have sun and not too much wind
