Congrats. I dare say that your first shot is MUCH better than mine, I just took a bunch of snaps of my office so I could play with settings and such.

But boy, she's a beaut, eh? I haven't had a real opportunity to shoot yet, but I just love the way this thing feels.

Yes I'm very pleased with it. The battery grip makes it feel so much better.

oh well... my 717 is serving me well so far... I will just need to have my DSLR before my honeymoon coming up in August or so

Would love to have a 1Ds, but at that price I would have to sell my truck :)
